Veronika is an Undergraduate student of Contemporary Dance at the London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS). Both as creator and performer, she is interested in projects and collaborations which relate to the topics of the world situation and bring art outside traditional spaces. Having choreographic experience, she would like to develop projects, which would involve different art forms and media. As an artist, Veronika is looking for opportunities to create works for galleries, public spaces and film. Outside term time she often comes to her home country and shares her knowledge through various dance workshops and workshops related to dance and relaxation. Currently, she is also a part of the LCDS magazine Garble through which she develops her interest in journalism, in interviewing specifically.
Previously she collaborated with some brilliant, both recognised and emerging, choreographers such as Attila Egerházi, Samuel Delvaux, Anna Jirmanová, Šimon Kubáň. or Adam Orszulík. Studying at the LCDS she had an opportunity to understudy fragments of Richard Alston’s work under the leadership of dancers of Richard Alston Dance Company – Elly Braund and Ihsaan de Banya. Veronika also performed in site specific works, both in London and Prague.
Veronika is a graduate from Dance Center Prague – Conservatoire in 2015 with rich experience in performance. During her studies in Prague she received professional education in Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Jazz. She was also a member of a pre-professional youth company Ballet Prague Junior and an external performer in several productions of South Bohemian Theatre. Both in main and ensemble roles.
