Hello, my name's Vicky and I'm a freelance illustrator based in London.
I’ve always loved to draw, paint, write and take pictures, but I decided to turn my passion into a full time career in 2013 while I was traveling the Old Silk Road from Kathmandu to Istanbul. By literally drawing on experience (location), I aim to scratch the surface and illustrate interesting stories found in unexpected places.

Reporting directly to gallery founder Juliette Loughran this is primarily a digital role with sole responsibility for sourcing, writing and publishing creative blog content (tri-weekly) and managing all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. Other responsibilities include publishing gallery newsletters and website content management.

One Vintage Designs is a luxury, independent fashion retailer in Notting Hill, London, owned by designer Marcelle Symons. Built around the idea of making beautiful vintage pieces 'wearable', each garment is lovingly repurposed, embellished and finished by hand - and therefore one-off, unique and original. Employed to paint live in-store once a week I turned carrier bags into works of art and painted several large scale window murals to add value to the brand, engage and entertain clients, and in offering unique works of art along with every in-store purchase reinforce the brand ethos 'be original, buy original'.
