About me
I am a very enthusiastic, reliable and professional young woman. Media is my complete and utter passion and I have been studying it for the past four years. I was the Chairperson and Treasurer of my college's radio station BangFM. I have also gained radio experience in various local and community stations.
I have a first class BA honours degree in TV, Radio and New Media Broadcasting. I have also obtained a FETAC Level 5 and 6 in Radio Broadcasting and a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Media Production. In 2013, I became Treasurer of BangFM and in 2014, I became the station's chairperson. During my time there, I organised many student events including a Silent Disco which won an award in the college for “Best Event” and represented IT Tralee in the BICs. In 2016, I was awarded a diploma in Event Management.
I am fully computer literate and an expert typist. My communication skills, both written and spoken, are impeccable. I am experienced at recording Vox-pops and am trained in Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro and After-Effects. I am enthusiastic and organized and can work equally well on my own initiative and as part of a team. I am a very focused and motivated worker. I am a people person and enjoy meeting new people and learning new skills.
Recreationally I enjoy listening to music, watching television and movies, dancing and reading. I am an entertainment enthusiast and pride myself on my knowledge of entertainment news, different genres of music and current trends. I have a strong social media presence and am well versed in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Wordpress and Tumblr amongst other social media sites.

As studio executive I held the responsibility of running the radio studio. I organised the schedule, the playlists and interviewees. I also produced and presented a daily music show on the radio station.
