Lead UX Designer
Contract role for the recently formed Parliamentary Digital Service – serving both the House of Lords and House of Commons, and ongoing work for Parliament.uk.
• Design and prototyping of the My Constituency tablet and mobile apps working with external app development teams based in the US
• Working with stakeholders to refine requirements and the prototyping and redesign of main parliamentary calendar on parliament.uk. Improved design allows more information to be included with the creation of event pages and integration of video and live streaming of events
• Overseeing the design and UX of external agency work on a new responsive parliamentary TV site

Brand guardian and manager of a busy team of three designers, plus external agencies and illustrators.
• Conceptualisation, design, identity creation and brand development work for many clients
• Production of optimised web-ready graphics, flash games, user interface design, and other
content for the Biomni internet/intranet and client sites, including the design and creation of customer e- commerce sites and portals – many of which were multi-lingual for roll-out in a number of countries
• Meeting and giving presentations to customers on-site including pharmaceutical, IT and government clients
• Taking a brief from clients and translating client ideals into slick, working solutions
• Design of all Biomni software products and attended focus groups to ensure the needs of users were being met
Made redundant due to Marketing and Design work being outsourced.
