  • - Full time position based in Dubai, UAE. Currently working a 6-month contract at Splash’s head office working closely with the head of VM to focus on underperforming departments. - Individually worked on projects in Intimates and XXL to re-design the departments within a budget, which are due to be rolled out across the UAE in 2016. A key aspect of the role has been supporting model store set ups, creating Brand signature documents, co-ordinate sheets and trend packs to be issued to all stores across the Middle East & India.


Area Visual Merchandiser

River Island

Nov 2013 - Nov 2014
  • ? Full time position. Responsible for the windows and in store visuals in 15 stores across the East Anglia region. I was the key point of contact for these stores regarding any visual merchandising aspects of the stores. ? Trained store managers and staff on current company visual merchandising techniques and supported in new store openings, flagship store model set ups and window mock-ups for next season’s launch.


Visual Merchandiser for Central Europe

  • ? Full time position at Tesco HQ in Welwyn Garden City, UK. Created planograms for Home and Electrical using JDA creative software for store implementation in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. ? Developed strong relationships with central European VM teams and focused on the commercial technicalities behind merchandising; the rate of sale, minimum display quantity, availability and capacity. ? Held regular meetings with buying and merchandising managers to ensure that all information was sent to the visual merchandising whilst working to a critical path.

  • ? Full time position in the Chelmsford store, UK. Senior VM position within the team, I gained experience implementing all visuals across various departments including Women’s, Men’s, Children’s, Footwear, Home, Lingerie and Food. ? Supported with new store openings and trained store Supervisors on merchandising techniques within their dedicated brands.
