Hello, I'm Viki. I'm a freelance creative with a penchant for playing with words (and pictures), dreaming up campaign ideas and building brands online. I've worked in agencies for eight years and spent the last four at adam&eve DDB working on John Lewis.Locked Pro Plan feature
The bulk of my role at adam&eve had always been creative, so it made sense for me to officially become one of the agency's first digitally focused creatives. I specialised in fashion, beauty, home and lifestyle brands such as John Lewis, Max Factor, H&M and Mars. I working across digital, OOH and print campaigns as a copy writer and art director and was creative lead on shoots of all sizes.
My role involved running award-winning integrated digital campaigns including John Lewis Christmas three years in a row - Monty & Mabel, Man on the Moon and Buster the Boxer. I led award-winning innovation for John Lewis - including first UK brand to advertise on Instagram and first UK brand to advertise on Pinterest (including conception and art direction of the creative). A huge part of my role was content ideation, creation and planning for UK and global brands including John Lewis, Lloyds, Mars, H&M, Sky, Samsung, Virgin. I also pitched regularly for new business as a core member of the pitch team.
One of my first roles at the agency was launching John Lewis social channels including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This included the John Lewis influencer program and running the brand’s very first blogger event. My favourite bits included content creation at events, in store and on shoots and directing talent for influencer styling and tutorial films. Writing copy for website and social channels was also a big part of my role.
I spent my time writing copy and blog posts for the Icelandic Tourist Board (Inspired by Iceland) which meant lots of travel abroad. We even held the smallest music festival in the world in a tiny shed in Reykjavik. I also crafted copy and social campaigns for The Tate, Sky TV and Land Rover.
