My job position whilst at Candid Group was Marketing Associate/Graphic Designer. As this was a new start-up company, I was part of a two person team, even though I was a new and junior position, I was given a lot of responsibility and had to take it upon myself to work independently and think on my feet. I had to think of ideas for branding and marketing the company. One of the ideas being a viral video to advertise the company, which I was responsible for executing. I was in charge of creating all the marketing materials (business cards, pull up banners, leaflets, brochures, etc.) for the company. I was also responsible for the branding and style of the photography for properties, editing them and uploading them onto the company website, as well as creating and editing property tour videos. Furthermore, I was given the complete responsibility of starting the company Instagram account and continually using the account to create awareness for the company and also the future Pinterest account as well.
I was in charge of the receptionist/counter area with responsibilities such as taking orders on the phone and in person, engaging with customers with different background to ensure a positive impression and good customer satisfaction. I was also responsible for the till area and general cleaning in the front of house area.
I was part of a creative team and took on the role of Art Director. I would take ideas for an advertising campaign from a brief from concept to design, using photoshop and premiere pro.
