Projects
  • Memorabilia - 4th year graduate project
Memorabilia - 4th year graduate projectMy graduate collection is inspired by family relics; the photo albums, books and documents from my grandparent’s house particularly my grandfather’s tools. These nostalgic objects create a powerful visual focus for my work which includes elements of typography, vintage design and mechanical shapes. I have used both drawing and printing to investigate the lines, shapes and colours found in my research and I have developed these experiments into my final designs for contemporary interior products.
  • 70 years of Fashion - GSA Fashion Show
70 years of Fashion - GSA Fashion ShowFor the annual GSA Fashion Show I was looking at designs during Polish People's Republic '45-'89. I was inspired by glass, ceramics, textiles and furniture designs. One of my main inspirations were 'Columbus' teapots '56 by Danuta Duszniak.
  • Design Domain "Transform"
Design Domain "Transform"This project was inspired by traditional Kashubian embroidery. Kashubia in Pomerelia, north-central Poland is famous for its embroidery. My project was inspired by the folklore designs, flowers and colours.
