About me
Will Wade is a Yorkshireman living in exile in that there London. Twice a graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Will couldn’t act his way out of Made in Chelsea. Will writes to satisfy his existential angst, and this normally bears out in his stories’ introspective themes and cyclical narratives. On the occasion successfully productive, Will has written stories such as: 900 Words (to tell you that I love you), Aleastory, The Archivist, and The Inevitable Heat Death of Daniela Ashe. Will collaborates with the theatre company Unclaimed Creatures, writing in-situ and site-responsive pieces that form the body of text for audio-walk performances and site-specific installations. He has undertaken a script reading course with The Script Factory and recently completed City University, London’s Short Story Writing course. For excerpts of his writing – fiction and otherwise – visit www.aleastory.co.uk. [Glowing self-]References are available on request; endearingly self-deprecating appraisals are also available. *** In another (substantive) life, Will is innovation and policy manager at the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education. He manages the Leadership Foundation's portfolio of research and thought leadership, working with the UK funding councils, sector partners, universities and researchers to deliver evidence-based innovation in the fields of leadership, governance and management. Will also support the chief executive and senior leadership team with policy analysis and insights.
