William Huggons is a Canadian born designer currently practising in Plymouth, UK. His work is process driven, with physical outcomes only being part of the work. William has an innate hunger to learn; making-skills, design philosophies and social study have all served as the genesis for his ideas. With diverse and varied concepts, comes diverse and varied work.
Huggons is the master of no craft, but has an astounding grasp on many. He has produced work in wood, metal, and ceramics, often combining them - he has taught himself traditional making methods in all three. He has utilised modern 3D printing, Laser cutting and CNC routing to create certain pieces of work. In terms of processes and methods available to him, he has an enviable toolbox, and if he does not possess the perfect skills required to do what he wants, he will gladly learn them.
