• Worked within both the contemporary and designer sections of the shoe and fashion galleries. • Familiar with numerous stock rooms and all EPOS operations. • As a Brand Specialist also head of visual merchandising for the concession, dressing windows and mannequins. • Encyclopaedic product knowledge • OTB planning and co-ordination with managers • Further responsibilities include money-mapping, training team members and liaising with other store teams within the region.
• Headed a team of 6 all the while meeting and exceeding KPIs. • Gained extensive knowledge of the store layout/logistics and encyclopaedic product knowledge. • Responsible for resolving customer inquiries, liaising with the visual merchandisers, press and operations team and generally supporting the sales team (the support role entails all EPOS duties etc. expected from the sales team). • Frequently dressing and updating mannequins following my own creativity. • For over 5 months in the role I was also part of the small team responsible for training new managers and other team members, both for our store and others in the region. • Unofficial stylist to many loyal customers, as well as colleagues and managers alike.
The course was initially undertaken as a BSc degree. After taking a year out, I left the course early with enough successfully completed modules to be merited with a Cert.HE.
