Lead designer for mobile game targeted at girls' audience between 8-10 years old. Focus on improving gameplay, reward system, replayability and adding in-app purchases. Tasks: user testing, redesign of core mechanics, development of new features, design of screenflows, mock-ups and creating the game design doc. Close cooperation with external developement team.

- Building communities through social networks and forums; - Engaging with the community; - Creating regular community updates; - Providing daily feedback to other teams, including reactive feedback (user comments and reviews) and proactive feedback (surveys, player meet-ups, and polls); - Creating new engagement opportunities that promote conversion, recurring payments, player retention, and product loyalty; - Identifying and analyzing issues and trends in customer requests and product performance; - Communicating customer suggestions and providing ideas for product improvement; - QA and localization of weekly social game updates; and - Managing 'ambassadors' (voluntary community representatives/forum moderators).
I worked together with the International Office and Sports & Culture Division of the TU Delft to organise the Summer School 2008, an introduction week for international students. My tasks involved programming activities, logistics management, budgeting, interior design and coordinating.
2004 – 2010: Hostess at various gaming events, including the Festival of Games in Utrecht and the Power Unlimited Gameplay in Amsterdam. 2008: Team member of sponsored female Call of Duty 2 gaming clan Team GX 2007: Internship at Blammo TV production company, Amsterdam Blammo is well known in the Benelux for their TV Show “Gamekings”. My tasks involved redaction, filming, editing and assisting with the production of the ESWC qualifiers. 2006: Shoutcaster at the Samsung Euro Championships at CeBIT, Hannover. For Gamer-FM I gave live comment on the racing matches played on the main stage and broadcasted on the live stream. 2002 – 2006: Writer/Reporter for various online gaming communities, including the Global Gaming League.
The OUSSEP program offers foreign students the opportunity to study a wide variety of subjects in English at the Osaka University. The program encourages students to study topics outside of their major to broaden their horizons. During this year I have studied a wide variety of topics like modern Japanese history, gender studies, social media and of course the Japanese language.
The Design for Interaction MSc programme focuses on the interaction between people and products. The course covers topics which include ergonomics, aesthetics, interaction design, psychology and sociology.
