Client accounts serviced include: Lumene, Bonne Mamman, Hackett, Neff & Miele. ·? Lumene: I started my time at the bank, working with the the planners team working on this brand; my tasks included creating mood boards for the product ranges, product information research, defining different ranges of products based on characteristics and competitors positioning research. Finally I worked with the head of this team, on the analysis and critic of the brand’s strategy, developing a new strategy document, which suggested the new direction the brand should be taking. ·? Bonne Mamman: Short-term collaboration project. I was involved in the brand’s positioning strategy for its new products, as well as elaborating mood boards and design and develop product distributions within the market. ·? Hackett: I also worked on developing mood boards for Hackett, carrying out product information research, competitors positioning research, communication analysis and the most finally, collaborating with the main team in the development of a new brand direction strategy requested by the client. ·? Neff: With this third assignment I was given the chance to start working and developing my own projects, bringing in my own ideas. It included the design of the strategic direction for Neff BIY social media networks, including YouTube and Instagram. My analysis led me to propose a change in the direction the agency had taken in the last two years regarding the strategy for Neff, and the new strategy I proposed was accepted by the team. My conclusions and propositions for the Instagram part of the project were used as a guideline for the media team. I also developed a plan for following up with clients and a schedule which ensured that there was constant communication with the client, enabling them to be more comfortable and put more trust in the team. This was adopted by the media team. ·? Miele: The Miele project was designed as a competitor review (for Neff). The project involved analysing every single aspect of the German company; starting from their background, brand positioning, range of products, UK communication ( ATL, Digital, Experiencial, in Retail, Sponsorships and Social Media), keys for success, retail strategy and finally and more relevant for The Bank, a total of 8 direct implications for Neff. On the side I elaborated creative briefings for Heineken, Neff and Lumene and weekly adverts reports.
I started this internship as a marketing developer and events planner due my previous experience in the filed. I was in charge of organising Who’s Next trade show in Paris and Jewellery & Watch Birmingham fair, as well as building relationships with potential buyers and stockists. The second part of the internship saw me working in strategy development and positioning. Working hand to hand with the owner planning and implementing marketing strategies, using existing channels, direct mail, emarketing and other online activities.
