• Working with the Convenience Retail team on the shops’ monthly promotions; role includes preparing the monthly promotion brief; liaising with category managers, printers, suppliers and the design agency regarding POS artwork; creating the final print files, checking proofs and sending to print; • Coordinating production of the newsletter/guide that goes out to the shops, which includes copy writing, collecting the relevant images and supervising its creation by the art-worker; • Looking after all communications regarding shops and stations’ closure and reopening. This includes creating banners, communicating with the territory managers and arranging print and delivery. • Working towards optimising the communication between Shell and Altavia HTT.
• Print buying: responsible for a 500k yearly budget, with printers and delivery locations all over the world. I worked directly with both clients and printers, and helped maintain relationships on both sides. This quite often involved working to extremely tight schedules, requiring flexibility and problem solving abilities. • Quality Assurance of comic books before sending to print. This involved careful attention to detail, and sourcing print and merchandise manufacturers. • Adhering to and improving production processes in line with the Department of Health Information Standard • Merchandise: responsible for launch of several Medikidz products, including display box sets on the POS side, and plasters, on the B2C side. I was involved in each step, from design to production and delivery. • Publishing: I was responsible for everything to do with trade books, from stock levels, registration, printing and distribution. • Ecommerce: new webshop launched in March 2014; upon launch I was responsible for the day to day management including: updating content of our newest trade books, customer service and formulating a monthly newsletter.
