Yannis Tsitsonis was born in Athens, Greece and even as a child he was obviously going to grow up. After drawing nice pictures on every piece of paper, wall, fabric or furniture in his radius, he finally started gaining money by turning the making of comics into his profession, though still under-aged at the time. He studied Visual Communication Design, taking his toll on the faculties of AKTO School of Art and Design and Middlesex University of London for 4 years. Upon his return from London, he founded his own firm, Liquid Certainty Design. He has worked as an art director and graphic designer for various magazines and publishing companies, as an animator and illustrator in collaboration with advertising agencies and production companies and as a comic artist with stories taken out of his own or out of other peoples' minds. He achieved his childhood dream of creating an animated TV series with his 'child' 'Ouk an lavois para tou mi ehontos' and then went on to work in the TV industry. Lately, he retired from being a proud member of the trailer department of MEGA Channel and he's exploring a new world in old Albion. He also speaks about himself in the 3rd person. Specialties: animated graphics, character design, animation producer, director, print design, sreenwriter, comic artist, illustrator, storyboard artist, compositing and special effects, brand design, web designer, animation, design tutor
My role in Rescon is mainly to design user interface and visual signage for the applications that the company produces. I also work, along with the developers, on designing the sites that the company manages and I am responsible for any additional visual material, such as presentations and videos, that is required to help either the end user or the company's profile.
I created Liquid Certainty Creative Studio as a freelance graphic designer, since then I have expanded my skills beyond visual communication design to storytelling, either through written or crafted media and producing projects by managing a network of in house designers as well as a number of freelancers and associates. I give the creative direction, work with the client for the concept of each product and I work or/and oversee all the stages of production.
I had the opportunity to work in large scale nationwide campaigns launching new or relaunching revised tv products. My role is to create logos, graphics, animated graphics and animations in order to help each particular trailer communicate its message.
I have worked on various products of Studio ATA as a title sequence designer, logo designer and other animated graphics, and animations.
