I worked as a receptionist for CBRE Company. My front of house duties included, welcoming visitors on site, signing guests in and out and liaising with staff to notify them of visitors movements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, using Excel to make daily spreadsheets of the visitor’s passes. Excellent telephone manner and can efficiently deal with any issues that arise throughout the day. Responsible for booking meeting rooms for staff members, ordering stationary for all departments and I was in charge of collating information about my department to feed back to my manager.
I taught Zumba and aerobics to children aged 11-17 years in Leatherhead. My class was a recreational activity that they could choose to attend whilst at the English Language Summer School. I taught three classes a day which each lasted forty-five minutes. I planned and choreographed all my classes on my own, changing them daily to keep the children engaged
The role was mostly administrative and also involved assisting with shoots. I raised invoices and managed PDQ receipts. I acted as a personal assistant, fielding calls, managing the diary and responded to personal invites and made bookings. On photo-shoots I helped with lighting, styling and editing. Laetitia has an online boutique, which I took pictures for, including accessories and furniture and uploaded them, giving a full description of each item. I researched new brands in fashion, make up, cosmetics and products and made comparisons with existing brands. The research was featured on Laetitia’s personal blog.
My role included meeting and greeting customers, taking orders, liaising with the kitchen, handling money and assisting the bar staff. I was responsible for looking after our corporate clients on their away days and looking after large groups who had different requirements. I was asked by my management team to be responsible for taking minutes at staff meetings. I established solid communication skills and good customer relations and worked well under pressure when dealing with challenging customers.
My role involved serving customers at the till with excellent customer service, managing the fitting rooms, replenishing stock and coordinating window stock and dressing the mannequins.
The company sold the ultimate karaoke machine. My role was to demonstrate to customers how the machine worked which required heavy customer service. I was able to give an element of performance, by showing my musical theatre training with poise and confidence. I was also responsible for stock counts. I worked at all three major stores and always reached the sales target of the day. This was a fixed term Christmas contract
I am just about to finish a post graduate course in Photography. I have achieved Distinction levels in all my assignments completed so far and have been able to gain access to studio sessions and working with models.
