About me
Yu-Hua Lan as a designer maker, sculptor, jewelry maker, her works present her own sensory experiences. Her main source of inspiration is coming from natural, by using ceramic materials to casting seeds forms and broken seeds forms into different shape. Also imitate the patterns and toughness of plant life and nature, in order to reconstruct the portrayal of nature in emotional memories and creating emotional bonds.
Through her works, you will see a lot of black and white colors. Dark and light, fears and hope they both tightly connected, their relationship tightly dependent and affect each other. Also she hopes extend her emotional connections between public and her works, to the riever, to explore the healing potentials of cooperation, nature and making.
