I consider myself a self-taught multimedia designer. I have experience in UX/UI design, web design, animation, web programming, e-commerce, flash developing, video editing and project managing. I was a multi-media director for an advertisement agency for five years. Then I turned a self employee for seven years. At the same time I was working for a science museum developing educational game modules. Nowadays, I have been working for more than one year and remotely for a Palo Alto, California based company, where I am the leading UX/UI designer for a Smart Home automaton App/product. I had the opportunity to work in Austria and Palo Alto with world-class IT teams. Now I have moved to London and even though I still work for this company, I have time and I look forward to work part-time for a project which I could give all I know as a designer and also I am very open to learn new things, moreover I am aware that that is a must have when it comes to technology.
As a consultant I would do tasks which generally include: • Web UX/UI design • Flash • Wordpress • Project management • Graphic design
I was a Consultant for a Chilean Interactive Museum of Science. In this 7 year period I developed 12 educational game modules using skills as: • Flash and Adobe Air (AS2/AS3) • Illustrator • Photoshop • Augmented Reality implementation.
My tasks: • Web Design • CMS (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal) • E-Commerce websites • Flash project • Team work
Some of the projects included: • flash presentations • Web sites • Video • 2D and 3D animations
My project was selected to be funded through public funds. The project consisted in the design and print of a photo book to boost an Andean carnival that happens in Arica, north of Chile. http://www.yuridek.com/projects/carnaval-andino.pdf
