I am a textile and material designer based in London and a recent graduate of Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London. My work is often inspired by narratives of varying kinds, for example through cultural and social movements, a concept, design principles or other visual mediums. I am a dedicated, ambitious and passionate designer who always strives to push textile practices through a heightened sensitivity to colour and material qualities.
Advising customers on fabric and material selection for purposes including fashion, costume, product, interior and set design. Managing the till, organising fabrics and other products as well as arranging displays. As a result of working at Cloth House I have developed an extensive knowledge and understanding of textiles, material and fibres. I was also asked to take the responsibility of weekend manager where organisation, delegation and managing a team effectively is essential.
Working on client consultancy projects, image research, making mood-boards, colour matching and trend-tracking. Writing and editing for the publication and trend magazine and involved during rebranding of the company. Worked closely with creative materials consultant assisting with prop making, lighting and photography for the publication and other creative decisions behind the lens.
Part-time assistant to designer, hand drawing and editing on Adobe Illustrator for bespoke scarf designs, meeting manufacturers and stockists on the behalf of the designer. Fabric and materials sourcing, organisation of products, as well as representing the brand at events and Pop Up shops.
Active in preparation for the show at Kensington Olympia Exhibition Centre. Organising, cutting and preparing fabrics, setting up and working on the stand during the exposition, liaising with designers, manufacturers and others from industry, promoting the fabrics, the organisation and services it offers.
Working amongst small team of designers, creating fashion textile swatches to be sold at international trade shows. Worked specifically in stitch department, creating hand embroidered and embellished samples and invited to intern at Acorn again last summer.

Textile work exhibited alongside other Chelsea College of Art textile students as a collaborative project with the Fashion and Textiles Museum.
Selling two of my design swatches for S/S 15 to Color Textil and Georges Hobeika and representing the textiles course on the Chelsea College of Art stand at Indigo, liaising and selling work to industry professionals.
