About me

I am a friendly and outgoing person, yet highly organized, self-motivated with good initiative, and keen on succeeding in every aspect of my life driven by "let's do it" attitude. I am extremely willing to follow-up on my interior design studies on public and retail spaces and passion for all things creative, and pursue a career in the design world. Last but not least I would like to delve into the notions of Branding & Identity design, as well as transform exceptional concepts into three dimensional space experiences.

• Prestige Café - Real Life ProjectIn my first freelance design job i had been asked to redesign and renovate an existing cafe hub. The main challenge was that some parts of the interiors should remain the same, so I had to link them with my proposal in order to create a cohesive space under a compatible design style. The main concept lies on frames, while the meaning behind this idea is the connectivity a frame as a complete entity creates, but at the same time separates anything else outside of it. This connectivity within the space is defined by a copper tube structure which serves decorative and functional purposes and continues as an unrelieved line which connects the two bars. Frames can also be seen on the wooden structures that I have designed for decorative causes.

In my first internship as an interior design graduate in the UK I had the opportunity to practice my skills and broaden my design knowledge by working in the multidisciplinary design studio of Wayne Hemingway-Hemingway Design. During my practice period I had been liaising with design projects starting with the concept generation to the completion and finalised submission of each particular work. Moreover I had the chance to test myself on different sectors, such as graphic design & branding, as well as to learn to communicate & collaborate with my colleagues, work under pressure & meet the deadlines successfully.
