About me
In my previous experiences within a working environment I have proven to have a driven work ethic, and have displayed great confidence when approached by new challenges. I have shown enthusiasm, and determination under pressured conditions, but have equally demonstrated my ability to work within a team by communicated with my colleagues successfully. I have offered unique and creative ideas to excel the companies I have worked for. I would consider myself to be a perfectionist, as I cannot accept anything below the best of what I am capable of. Creativity – - Designed my own profile pages using HTML codes. - Distinction* in BTEC Art, and an A in Fine Art A level, - Self-taught in programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Graphic Tablet work since 2008. - At 16, adopted more traditional mediums - oil painting, pencil work and charcoal to produce portrait art. - Illustrated a Children’s Book: Kamillah the Butterfly in 2012 - Currently an active portrait artist - promoted and sold artwork through social media platforms like instagram, twitter, facebook, society6, and on my own website www.zahraaalh.com Language and Literature skills - - BA in English Literature - Fluent in Arabic, which has proven to be greatly useful in the financial/business world. - Produced a script for the contemporary stage in my final year. Leadership and Teaching Skills – On several occasions have I proven to be an efficient and beneficial leader within work experiences and several events and charitable organisations. I have also tutored secondary school students in English on a variety of occasions.
