I am a beauty writer, writer and editor. With a knack for talking and building a genuine client base. I am a lover of the media and how communication between brands and consumers can be breached so easily, with a strong campaign built on creative concepts across a multitude of platforms
I have a varied background of experience ranging from but not limited to, writing creatively, journalism, market research and copywriter. This comes from my experience at Gulf News UAE, where I was taken on as freelance beauty editor; as well as a liase to PR reps from Revlon, Bourjois and more. My retail sales experience has given me the skills to recognize and meet sales KPIs in order to exceed considerable ranks within the company. I've worked as head of a PR team to create a charity event, as well as marketing lead on this project, as well as managed social media accounts for a Cargo company.
I am a fast learner. Having been painted with the skills of varying sectors and industries, I know I have the potential to exceed, be it creatively, a commercially growth driven focus, or through media and social output. My goal is to make a lasting impression on whatever target or client I am faced with, to captivate, educate and build ongoing communication, rapport and relationships.

I achieved a spot in the top 20 sales associates across the Midlands, and later achieved 40th in the company itself, I achieved this within my first three months at the company. It speaks for my natural flair for sales and the confidence to keep customers engaged. Offered the public a wealth of product knowledge on handsets and devices, as well as technical advice daily, giving me a consistent customer feedback score that has never dropped below 95%. My willingness to help and bubbly and knowledgeable flair have aided this. I was also in charge of general administration duties, such as carrying out search logs and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping through delegating tasks to other associates, I was also in charge of creating the monthly rota and keeping track of paperwork issues. This broadens my skill set into admin work, but also shows I can keep on top of managerial tasks.

As a freelance beauty journalist for this online publication, I independently wrote a double paged spread covering DIY home remedies, as well as presenting handpicked products that related to each monthly theme of the magazine. This required a fair amount of current market research on beauty products, as well as an extensive analysis of various ingredients and their properties. I liaised with the editor of the publication regularly as I completed this article remotely, showing I can work effectively at a distance yet remain in close contact with an editor, as well as take on criticism and use it constructively.
