About me
I am currently living in London whilst looking for work after recently graduating from Leeds Beckett University last year where I gained a degree in Entertainment Management.
I have worked for a variety of venues, managing bookings and events, as well as organizing my own events from conception through to completion. Over the past 3 years I have organized artist led music events, pop up clothing events and an indoor clothing market. I have gained invaluable experience in every aspect of marketing, advertising and generally managing events with large and diverse teams, dealing with artist bookings, riders, transport and operations within the venue. Working for ILoveTour over the past 3 years has offered me invaluable experience in organizing and managing large teams of up to 45 people, while overseeing the smooth operation of hotels across Spain. Recruiting a team of 10 to help with the coordination of events in Barcelona also required me to supervise and nurture a team, delegating roles efficiently. I have shown use of my initiative throughout my time studying, starting up multiple small self managed businesses. Averys Emporium is a clothing resale and distribution website, Kusp. Couture is a boutique street wear brand, The Garmhaus is an indoor clothing festival, and finally Groove2 is an artist led music event. With my recent move to London I’m now looking to gain some hands on industry experience working for reputable organization and learn a new range of skills, while expanding my network in the city.
I am extremely hardworking, enthusiastic, and a outgoing person with strong people skills and the ability to organize and delegate roles to ensure the smooth running of any process, alongside a creative flair to add originality and innovation to everything I do. I have a genuine passion for both events management, music and the community, regularly incorporating charity funding and donations into my events. I am a creative soul with a dynamic approach to just about everything I do, and at times more ideas than I know what to do with, however I have good direction and always maintain a positive attitude and mentality regardless of the situation.
