I work in Menswear Branded Apparel as a Senior Buying Assistant. My daily role is focused on building brand relationships and maximising my department's potential, both in sales and trends. I manage my assistant, and ensure they are developing in a happy, healthy environment. I have great team ethics, and have built strong relationships with not only my department and brands, but the whole business. I work with my merchandisers to continuously improve category depth, maximise profitability and achieve objectives, forecasts and department goals. I negotiate strategies relative to product costs, terms and product flexibility to achieve a competitive position in the market. I also work closely with the marketing, creative and production teams, assisting with style vision, outfit guides and model segment exploration.
