Creating mood boards, trend research and colour palettes for childrenswear and Womenswear with the Head of Design. Managing and mentoring an assistant designer. Partnering with merch, buying, tech and sourcing teams. Developing artworks, trims and new silhouettes with far-eastern suppliers. Initiating a concept development process within the team, for innovation and more contemporary collections.

  • Designed Knitwear styles, produced illustrations and specs. Designed all prints for SS14 Silks and knitwear, produced schematics, selected yarns and colours. Hands on involvement with the design team for all elements of this premium label, shown at Portland Fashion Week.

  • Designed and developed multi-product apparel for womens tennis; concept, inline and high profile athlete pieces. Responsible for a lifestyle collection - drove fashion-forward, more youthful ideas which increases sales. Made responsible for managing colour: seasonal palettes, head-to-toe athlete looks, and main range styles. Managed a graphic designer and fabric developer for my styles, partnered with factories in the far east for production. Selected as a member of the global trend team; combining travel and research to analyse trends and feed to design leadership and teams through a blog and magazine, which informed the seasonal creative direction.
