- THE BEAUTY LOADThe Beauty Load: The Beauty Load was first created September 2014, to function as a platform which allowed for me to embrace and share my love for beauty from my personal perspective (not like there isn't enough out there but you know I wanted to have my say). The Beauty Load has a fresh, positive but well informed approach (well I hope it does) towards beauty, which is relatable to all woman. I stumbled across the world of blogging quite late (like with most things in life), I was attracted to the world of blogging really really quickly (you can tell I am fond of the blogging world, as I have taken to saying really not only once in each sentence but twice it's a blogger thing), it was like I discovered this secret community where I was meant to be a member. At the time, I was just starting to become more informed and exploring the world of beauty. It was perfect because this little space has become my creative outlet, while I lead my mundane life (very boring) and the perfect excuse to buy more beauty products. I hope that The Beauty Load is somewhere you come to take even the slightest bit of inspiration that in turns spruces up your daily beauty routine or just a little more informed when it comes to skincare products (I am not an expert but I like to think I know a thing or two)

I successfully investigated social media marketing for specifically for beauty sales brand. Subsequently, I was able to offer suggestions and manage a successful social media market strategy. Resulting in an increase in Instagram following and clicks to the website by 30%. Furthermore, I was also responsible for producing regular social content, which fit in line with the brand image and best emphasised the brand unique selling points. I was actively engaging with followers in a friendly manner, to assist with product information and open up conservation to increase social awareness. A key success within this role was my ability to be able to put the brand on the radar of beauty editors, which resulted in a feature on ELLE France magazine as well as on beauty blogs such as The Detail Oriented Beauty blog.

A vital aspect of my role involved researching the latest beauty trends and lifestyle topics. From the research, I was able to successfully plan ahead and produce content that was well received. I implemented my organisational skills to devise a content schedule, to maintain consistent uploads on the blog and across all social media platforms. This in effect, resulted in a growth of traffic to the site by over 40%. An increase in interaction was also an outcome that I had worked towards. As part of the role, I had developed relationships with brands and PRs. Which enabled me to secure collaborations with several brands and work together with the brands to produce content that was in line with a brief but took into consideration Patricia’s voice and style.
