Crowdact is a Canada originated subject based social media, has been founded and developed by a group of people including myself. It did not become successful yet it taught us some priceless business lessons. Some of the responsibilities of the job was as follows;
• Creating content for a new launched social media, in more than 50 different titles and subtitles such as sports, music, science and technology, politics, art and design and many more.
• Modifying the title and subtitle list where there is a need to do so.
• Administrative responsibilities such as modifying or removing the content provided by other users.
• Spotting the bugs and communicating with the IT team where necessary.
• Promoting the web-page over the internet and in person to the potential users where possible.

• Audiovisual footage research upon requests from national and international NGOs, associations, production companies, TV and radio channels and individuals as well as the requirements of various departments within the corporation.
• Investigation of all copyright issues and regulations for the relevant footage.
• Projecting the price for the potential footage according to the purpose of usage.
• Editing the footage with various edit tools and transferring the footage into an appropriate format according to the purpose of usage.
• Carrying out all correspondence between TRT and other parties via phone, fax, e-mail and meetings along the process.
• Preparation of legal documents for footage where necessary in correspondence with the relevant departments in TRT.
• Translation and presentation of the international documents to the executives.
• Translation of the legal documentation to the international clients where necessary.
• Participation to the meetings of the Cap-Med project, an EuroMed Audiovisual Programme funded by EU aimed at improving the protection of television heritage, carried on between 2001 and 2003.
• Selection and preparation of all footage to the Cap-Med project.
