Nice to meet you, I am Zoe. I'm also CIM qualified in Digital Marketing and an English BA Honours graduate. I have over 10 years’ total experience of marketing - predominantly in media and publishing. Over the past few years I have been acutely involved in developing new online initiatives to drive content across digital platforms while complementing offline products. This has required expertise in audience analysis, digital, CRM, brand, cross-channel marketing and campaign management driven by a strong strategic vision. Local World is a leading regional media network owned by Trinity Mirror. I worked on two significant projects starting with Transformation to digitalise the culture and practices of the existing business and finishing with the POC of a completely new, disruptive operational model to revolutionise the future of regional media. Responsibilities Strategy & campaign management – Developed the marketing strategy for the new business model CRM – Producing one-off email campaigns; daily RSS newsletters; setting up automated email programs. Main account and relationship holder of our email client, (dotmailer), overseeing multiple accounts across Group. Abreast of data legislation, protection and management. System integration testing and data mapping Audience analysis & segmentation – Creating and testing segments, understanding device trends and behavioural targeting using Omniture and other analytics software (Visual DNA, JICREG) Print – Newspaper house ads and in-paper cross-promotion initiatives. Northcliffe Media was a fast growing network of over 200 hyperlocal ‘Localpeople’ and 27 regional ‘Thisis’ websites along with 100 newspapers and Wowcher.co.uk owned by Daily Mail Group Trust. Responsibilities: Strategy – Involved in the concept and development of localpeople websites and initial stages of Wowcher PR and offline promotions – Managed our internal communications. Worked with an agency for all external activity. Organised promo teams in multiple locations as well as radio advertising and event sponsorship Digital marketing campaigns and promotions - Drove registrations and pushed business categories using SEM, SEO, social media and digital marketing campaigns Creative services and design – Briefed all campaigns to our main design agency and managed freelancers Print – Negotiated contra-deals across DMGT as well as paid-for outdoor advertising, leaflets and door-drops CRM marketing - SMS & email campaigns to all B2C registered users and B2B business directory customers Team management – I managed 3 direct reports - a Social Media Manager, Promotions Executive and Email Marketing Executive and presented to sales teams around the country Key Achievements: Promoted within 6 months to manager Drove 37% increase in site registrations and 15% increase in social media traffic referrals Launched Digital Response – created the brand, guidelines, new website, blog, newsletter, ads, sponsored events and exhibitions.
