About me

I’m a creative copywriter, which is a fancy way of saying I do more than write words on a page. My experience ranges from being lead conceptor and Associate Creative Director on various ad campaigns, to planning and creating social media content, to founding a print magazine, to running a successful Kickstarter campaign, to writing short films for art exhibitions. I learned my craft in some of London’s most reknown advertising agencies, and today I’m happiest when creating work which makes a positive contribution to society and people’s lives.

    • I work with film, objects and text to stimulate critical thought about how things are, how things could be, and how we might want them to be. The Microbial Verdict: You Live Until You Die A speculative exploration of the future of people living with dementia, where synthetic biology allows all citizens to live until they die; that is, they live only for as long as they remain ‘themselves’. Smile, The Fiction Has Already Begun Happiness is often proposed as a better measure of national success than GDP. This project questions the motivations behind the global legislative trend of focusing on the emotional state of individuals.
