The Role

This role will be part of the World of Interior team. The Audience Development Coordinator will partner with the Digital Director to craft initiatives that introduce The World of Interiors to new readers and build engagement and loyalty with existing readers. This person will help to execute distribution strategies that extend the reach and amplification of stories via SEO, email, social media, partnerships, and other avenues.
The ideal candidate is someone passionate about interiors, culture, arts, decoration and design. They will also be excited by digital storytelling, and will be a self-starter comfortable working at the intersection of editorial, audience development, project and product management, and consumer marketing.
What will you be doing?
  • Collaborate with editorial leads to execute data-driven audience growth strategies across all content distribution platforms, with a particular focus on SEO, newsletters, commerce and social media
  • Work closely with analytics and digital leadership to meet KPIs
  • Work with editors to optimise all stories for each major distribution channel, and collaborate with product and tech teams to optimise the site for SEO
  • Assist with partnerships across platforms and oversee the brand’s presence on partner platforms like Flipboard and Upday
  • Work cross-functionally with editors, product managers and designers, and business and marketing groups to execute brand initiatives
  • Research search trends and work with editors to improve headlines and publishing strategy
  • Provide administrative and scheduling support on newsletters, commerce initiatives, sponsorships and events
  • Write copy and help with the creation of assets on audience development initiatives where required
  • Attend and contribute to editorial meetings, pitching content and audience initiatives for all WoI platforms
Who you are:
  • Some experience working on digital audience acquisition or development programs
  • Demonstrable interest in topics covered by The World of Interiors, and an understanding of the brand’s current digital and print outputs
  • Entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, creative and experimental in the approach to problem solving, with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as a keenness to play a key part of a dynamic and busy editorial team
Where will you be?
This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our beautiful Adelphi office, with breathtaking views over the Thames, and next to the hustle and bustle of The Strand.
