Gate One was established in the UK in 2013 and is currently a c£50m Group (all Gate One locations) with a c300 strong team. In recent years, Gate One has set up small teams in Dublin and New York and we are currently building the size of these teams whilst looking at other locations to support our international expansion. The specialist functions are critical to the growth and performance of Gate One. The teams in Marketing, Finance, People and Talent, Recruitment, Operations and the Incubator work in close partnership with the leadership team and Havas to facilitate growth, maintain quality and control, drive performance and support high quality decision making. Not only do the functions deliver business as usual activities, they also design and implement change projects, focusing on optomisation, preparing the business for scale.
Reporting Structure
The role will sit in the Operations team and report to the Senior Planning and Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
This role will oversee the data and reporting systems and processes at Gate One. The role is critical to the function of the Operations team, working closely with key senior stakeholders to provide data to inform decision making.
Data & Reporting
Ownership of data governance across Gate One, being responsible for data processes and best practice to obtain the data required
Super-user of Gate One’s PSA (currently Kimble), beingable to understand the data across the business, to identify data gaps and to export suitable information to present to key stakeholders
Super-user of other key data systems, including Tableau and Alteryx
Responsible for data cleansing, integration and analysis across all areas of Gate One (Finance, People and Talent, Operations, Marketing)
Provision of insight on the data provided, demonstrating high level of business awareness and strong stakeholder communication
Ownership of performance management data including roundtable dataset distribution and Partner balance scorecard trackin
Champion of data culture and standards among key stakeholders, including ability to explain how data governance affects data quality, timeliness and reliability Collation of key information to support decision-making at relevant governance forums (close liaison with CFO/COO and Chief of Staff on upcoming decisions and inputs required) o Board/Senior Leadership Team report including P&L (monthly)

o People data (monthly)
o Ad hoc analysis
Continuous Improvement – Systems & Data
Central stakeholder in Operations strategic projects, owning data requirements and able to identify risks and dependencies
Able to identify improvements in our data and reporting mechanisms, and deliver a project from start to finish with the guidance of more senior stakeholders, when necessary
Liaises with the Business Assurance Manager on ISO requirements for using, processing and storing data
Responsible for bringing innovation to the role, leveraging past experience and continuously improving Gate One’s systems, as well as keeping up-to-date with industry advancements
Supporting other specialist functions with data projects to create efficiency, optomise and improve processes
Requirements Skills:
Data skills in line with the responsibilities indicated
Strong stakeholder management and communication
Excellent Excel, PowerPoint skills
Understanding of an Operational function within a business (ie links across internal functions)
Excellent Tableau skills
Power BI and Alteryx skills are preferred
Experience:
Must have used Tableau in the past and feel confident to do so
Must have experience using other data tools, PSAS and Analytics Automation Platforms
Able to lead a project from start to finish whilst collaborating through the process
Knowledge and experience of Power BI and Alteryx is preferred
Knowledge and experience of Kimble (Kantata) is preferred
Basic financial knowledge (eg can understand a P&L, performance, revenue forecasting)
