Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Assistant to join the Creative team on a fixed term contract.
The Digital Content Assistant at UKTV will be instrumental in delivering high volume assets for paid advertising for our VOD service, UKTV Play. You will be responsible for versioning and the delivery of short form content to support performance marketing, bring to life the breadth of content available on our platform and drive registrations and viewing.
Working to a Senior Producer, the Digital Content Assistant is the key contact for all make-sheets and material, managing end to end delivery and liaising with Pictureshop, the inhouse edit facility.

Experience
  • Has experience in working with AV and design assets.
  • Experience with basic video editing and familiarity with rights restrictions.
  • Has had experience working in content creation and delivery for paid digital media platforms.
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Adobe, Premier Pro and Creative Cloud packages.
  • Familiar with Vantage, After Effects and Photoshop – not essential.
  • Has a genuine passion for TV and our content with an understanding of what captures attention in digital media.
  • Understanding of differing Social Media platforms and delivery requirements
  • Strong understanding of the edit and delivery process
Skills & personal qualities
  • Is extremely well organised and assists across multiple projects and deliverables.
  • Passion for TV and the advertising industry
  • An ability to multi-task on a variety of different projects and prioritising a heavy workload.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across a number of departments and services.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise and multi- task is essential.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Increase your knowledge of the Broadcast process.
  • Work with the Social, Marketing and Creative teams.
  • Contribute to the company Performance marketing campaigns, ensuring all assets are delivered on time.
  • The chance to work with a brilliant team, working across promotions for some of the largest programmes in the UK.
  • Work with the Digital team in producing AV-led creative for our VOD service that promote our content and drives sign ups and repeat views engaging with our multiple audiences.
  • Deliver output of our digital paid media creative including long and short-form content that will run on Meta, TikTok, Google, Youtube and Connected TV platforms like Amazon & Samsung.
  • Ensuring the Digital Creative has the correct material, liaising with Production Companies and internal contacts to gain access to material in a timely manner.
  • Being the key point of contact for material queries within the Digital content team
  • Responsible for all post production bookings and post production process and information flow.
  • Adding relevant gfx to Performance Marketing assets as directed by the Creative
  • Create Tx files and technically QC all assets before delivery.
  • Ensure exports meet specifications and technical requirements.
  • Export final files for use across all platforms/third parties, including delivery to media partners platforms.
  • Data management and archiving of all material following internal procedure.
  • Supporting the Digital Creative and Senior Producer
  • Keep databases up to date and flagging up on missing information which may delay the promo process to the Senior Producer
  • Manage booking and oversee voice overs sessions.
  • Raise concerns of bottlenecks & inefficiencies with the Senior Producer
