Dr Alex George is expanding his team and we are excited to offer the position of Social Media Manager. This role will be based in London but will involve travel to and from various activities such as shooting content for the Stompcast podcast and attending an array of projects.
We are specifically looking for a someone with significant experience in social media strategy and content creation who has a portfolio showcasing previous work. We want someone who can come up with exciting new concepts and then translate them into the finished product through shooting, editing and analysing backend data. Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience in both short and long format content, although the latter is not essential.
Our mission is to use social media as a platform to advocate for mental fitness and health in an engaging and impactful manner, so an interest in this area is crucial.
Developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy
Managing social media accounts, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement. This includes both Alex’s page and the Stompcast
Generating content ideas that are fresh and exciting and then translating them into the finished concept. This includes producing appropriate material on all social media channels: Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in social media – Instagram and TikTok - either in a personal capacity or for a business/person
Previous and evidenced experience in content planning and strategy
Good knowledge of filming and editing
A solid understanding of Alex’s message with a genuine interest in health, wellbeing and mental fitness
A creative mindset and an ability to think outside the box – with the confidence and skillset to turn ideas into reality in a way that is realistic to Alex’s time capacity
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
A logical thinker who is hungry to develop and grow the brand, and who is organised and reliable·
