Key responsibilities:
Working with marketing, foresight and strategy teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements so that,
  • We can improve the internal intel on our customers and prospects and how to target them more effectively
  • Use these skills to uplift the data component and content for all client and member deliverables
  • Report back to the business on marketing campaigns, lead acquisition, channels performance, sales activity and web analytics, making recommendations on improvements and where to go next
  • Develop and maintain marketing intelligence content in the form of presentations, reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across sales, marketing, customer success and members acquisition & retention
  • Ensure accuracy and optimisation of our internal tools and client intelligence software (Hubspot, Mixpanel, Google Analytics), particularly regarding the accuracy of the sales pipeline and customer/prospect information
  • Supporting the data transformation agenda moving  forward, utilising technology and analytical thinking to increase efficiencies across the business as a whole
  • The successful candidate will likewise be expected to use the above to help our editors improve retention, drive usage, and better understand how current members and prospective members are using LS:N Global
  • Drive the growth of our member database and elevate member engagement by collecting insights, constructing business cases, experimenting with various channels, reporting on business impact, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimise journeys and campaigns
  • Contribute to the oversight of performance marketing agency partnerships, ensuring success across diverse paid media channels (PPC, Google, LinkedIn), SEM, SEO and referral programmes
  • Accelerate revenue and customer acquisition by implementing market segmentation analysis and customer satisfaction measurements to ensure the team is focused on the most valuable target accounts and that comms are audience-appropriate
  • Measure ROI for online and offline marketing campaigns, including online and physical events
  • Evaluate and use third-party data – from a range of published, commissioned and supplied resources – supporting our foresight analysts and strategists to drive thinking and unlock insights for our clients and customers
  • This role is a multi-faceted one, so it is vital that the successful candidate is able to apply data insight skills across a marketing, content and external foresight function
Essential skills and experience:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a related role working with analysis and data management using tools including HubSpot, Salesforce, MixPanel or similar
  • Experience supporting marketing functions is essential
  • Strong data analytics/dashboard creation, with the appropriate familiarity with the tools and skills required to communicate data-driven stories effectively
  • Hands-on knowledge using marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot and Mix Panel
  • Ability to question data from multiple sources, formats and quality in order to answer strategic business questions meaningfully
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders across a variety of platforms and formats
  • Experience with Surveys, Social Listening, Data Visualisation and Analytics Platforms
  • Proven SQL and Excel skills and experience working with analytical reporting tools, e.g. Looker/Tableau/PowerBI
  • An interest in the creation and application of trends, consumer futures, foresight and research
