Job Title: Marketing Assistant, Atlantic (Temp)

Your role:
Atlantic Records is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join the team, to assist our Marketing Manager’s across our commercial Pop and Alt rosters. This position will require the candidate to be organised, able to work to tight deadlines, entrepreneurial in spirit and ready to get stuck in all projects across the roster.
Here you’ll get to:
  • Be in charge of all internal processes for the Marketing team (running screens in meetings, coordinating meeting rooms etc)
  • General Marketing Assistant duties including raising invoices, booking travel arrangements, processing expenses, coordinating team diaries, scheduling meetings, organizing couriers etc.
  • Attending team meetings, taking minutes to circulate to the team
  • Contributing creative marketing and digital marketing ideas to help gain exposure to our records
  • Coordinating and facilitating creative content shoots and events
  • Coordinating the commission and approval process for marketing assets (radio, outdoor, digital and TV)
  • Welcome and accommodate any guests that visit Atlantic, i.e. offering refreshments, making travel arrangements, scheduling meetings
  • Create and update marketing plans/timelines, release schedules, media bookings, memos and release schedules
  • Research projects for artists to assist with implementing and making strategy decisions
  • Data management for international repertoire to track their success in the UK
  • Scheduling using the internal software IMP
  • Liaising with internal/external project teams to canvas amounts needed for Watermarked promos/C Right – and then liaising with Creative Production team to organise this
About you:
  • Experience working within a record label / music environment
  • Passionate about music and learning more about marketing, specifically black music
  • Friendly, outgoing, professional and gets involved
  • Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively and use your own initiative
  • Dedicated, diligent, open to learning
  • Good time keeping skills
  • Excellent all round communication skills
  • Organised, efficient and able to prioritise tasks
  • Collaborative, team player, ability to form good relationships with colleagues (internally & externally)
  • Detail oriented – excellent level of accuracy
