About the Role
Sitting within the wider VWG team, the Planning Director (Performance) will be primarily focused on Performance lines of business for Audi UK. This role requires a relentless focus on continuous optimisation within media to help maximise returns, whilst simultaneously setting the pace on the advancements needed in the future as Audi embraces exciting new retail models. You will be working with a high-performing, award-winning team, and will have the opportunity to work across multiple work streams to help deliver a mix of exciting cross-channel media campaigns.
The Planning Director (Performance) will deliver data-driven performance media solutions for Audi, tailored to Audi's requirements and objectives.
  • Support the wider Planning Center of Excellence in analytical planning for Audi, acting as the principal point of contact for planners across the PHD network working on the Audi account.
  • Collaboration with Audi, PHD UK, PHD Global and OMG stakeholders
  • Support the roll-out of marketing analytics for Audi, including the delivery of new and existing OMG and Omni-based analytical solutions including dashboards, bespoke measurement projects and centralised media taxonomy
  • Respond to ad hoc marketing analytics requests from Audi and client teams, providing timely and insightful solutions.
  • Owning the relationships with Audi’s third-party measurement and data providers, both providing raw data to them as appropriate, and integrating analytical inputs and insights into our planning and optimisation .
  • Proactively drive new solutions to ensure we are bring fresh thinking and challenging clients, driving innovative ideas outside the day to day

About You
The ideal candidate will have a “performance mentality”, with a passion for driving continual improvement and refinement in an always-on programme of activity.
You will possess excellent attention to detail and numerical ability, comfortable taking multiple different data sets and synthesising data into clear conclusions, “so what’s” and actions,
You will be a strong collaborator, able to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and with the ability to influence clients through all verbal and written communication
