The Role
The Associate Visuals Editor will be partly responsible for the visuals on our GLAMOUR UK website. We're looking for someone with excellent technical and editorial judgement and a strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
The Team
The Associate Visuals Editor will be working within the GLAMOUR UK editorial team reporting to the European Creative Director in Central London.
What will you be doing?
  • Assisting with picture research and formatting for online platforms.
  • Supporting the creation of high-quality homepage content including photography, design, collages and GIFs - experience working with illustrations is preferred, but not essential.
  • Maintaining the high standard visuals of the website and ensuring they are consistently on-brand across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate directly with editors and writers to produce the most visually appealing feature.
  • Demonstrate strong editorial and visual judgement.
Who you are:
  • You’ll have commercial experience working on a digital picture desk in a relevant field.
  • Passion for our GLAMOUR digital visual aesthetic and a keen interest in beauty, fashion, empowerment and lifestyle.
  • Knowledge and experience of photographic sources, agencies and copyright law.
  • Demonstrated experience using Adobe Photoshop and producing digital graphic designs.
  • Highly organised, detail oriented with the ability to work to multiple tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to think outside the box and contribute ideas to editorial brainstorms.
Where will you be?
This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our beautiful Adelphi office, with breathtaking views over the Thames, and next to the hustle and bustle of The Strand.
