Main role
To ensure maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness in allocation of crews and trucks and all other programme related facilities.
Duties include
+ Provide logistics support to the programme and allocating facilities to the programme requirements.
+ Booking satellite trucks in both the UK and internationally. Booking satellites/downlinks or fibres both UK and international.
+ Booking freelance crews and managing daily staff and news crews.
+ Understanding of what is required in single and multi camera live broadcast.
+ Hiring extra kit for lives and shoots.
+ Booking feeds and playouts in the UK and internationally. Knowledge of international providers and suppliers
+ Liaising with local and US bureax.
+ Risk assessments for all assignments/consideration of implications of controls for risk assessments.
