- Very helpful and insightful @Samuel Ryan, thank you so much for taking the time to respond.Although I have had some experience with code beyond html/css with JavaScript I am keen to learn more through Python and other languages to become more versatile and able to develop more interesting projects and to prototype my own ideas for the various fields I work in.I have encountered python when using it to run automations on my macbook for various applications and also in animation but have yet to learn it properly.I work across media production, digital advertising, products and visual merchandising for fashion so application wise I'm interested in app dev and web apps where I can create an interface and system that communicates with electronic components. I have read that Python is versatile and can be used for either and I am interested in linking apps with hardward like raspberry pi - for audivisual electronics and lighting rigs.I didn't know about the variance / versions of Python languages though and I guess I'll learn more through doing to see what will be useful - again, thank you for bringing awareness to these differences.I did hear about Learn Python The Hard Way through a podcast and I have the book, so I think I will start there and work through the resources you have provided - Thank you so much :)
