Any good advice, for applying for jobs when changing career/sector? How to get that foot in the door?
Ideally with tech focus, as I changed from data analysis to web development, how do I convince employers that I can do the job!

- Literally walk into where you'd like to work and ask to speak to somone in HR (find out the name). Have a portfolio of work with you. Ask for 10% more than you'd like. Provide a reference. Shake hands. Find some niche skill or knowledge that's valuable and sell that. Send off 100cvs.
