Casting Call out for actors based in the West Midlands.
The production requires a middle aged, black female actor to play the lead in this 35 minute short, based on a play treatment by John Roberts.
Preferably based in the West Midlands and is able to commute to Sutton Coldfield due to scheduling and logistics.
The Film engages with themes of grief, compassion and race. Structured as a chamber piece the role will require extended monologue as well as moments of physicality. The performance requires a neutral dialect.
