Dear, anyone that gets sent promotional items from illustrators, what types of promotional items do you like receiving most?
If you are in a position where you recieve items from illustrators looking for work, what items do you recieve that catch your eye, or just plainly work best? Is it an email and website or PDF portfolio link? Is it a postcard, business card, interactive item? Do they include written notes, cover letters? What are the main qualities that a successful item/s might include? Do these qualities relate to the job you work in? Further more- do you often pass these items on, keep them for future referenece, or throw them away? How often do items you get sent turn into work opportunites/ collaborations?
