Does anyone know any websites or communities to find co-founders specifically for a CTO role?

Would be awsome if they were specific to a female CTO, cause lets brake the sterotypes but any advice and guidence welcome. Thanks

  • @Aron Marriott-Smith Thanks for all the infomation thats really good of you, I will check out the Mega Maker community. At this stage we don't have alot of money to be throwing around for third parties but will keep you in mind when we get there
  • Hi @Richard Hargrave , we do a lot of work with startups, helping them build out MVPs and developing the existing products they have. If you need any advice or tech help I would be happy to connect. But other than that if you're looking for a co-founder it may be worth looking into the Mega Maker community - you have to pay a one time joining fee, but it's a good community. It's run by Justin Jackson - who wrote the book "Marketing for Developers", as well as a bunch of other cool stuff. With co-founders in general it's best to work with someone you know, so if you have good friends with tech skills then they may be ideal. There's a good YouTube video from Y-Combinator on how to find a co-founder which I recommend giving a watch. Hope the above is helpful :)
  • @Paddy O'Shaughnessy This looks really intresting Paddy thanks. It seems that its free to post jobs which is useful for a early stage startup, do you know if it actually is free?
  • @Pawel Laczny Thanks Pawel I wondered if LinkedIn would be the one. I will check out Shapr as I havent heard of it before. Thank you

Have you ever tapped into communities like Girls Who Code?
