Hollywood Secret Service is looking for a creative visual researcher to join our studio, full-time in Brighton.
This key role would see you supporting our team by finding images, gifs and videos clips for pitches to win television commercials.
The nature of the work is often fast-paced and demanding, therefore the ability to think creatively, work quickly, communicate well and work reactively and collaboratively are vital. The right candidate should be versatile, motivated and ambitious.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include but not limited to:
- Interpret the brief and quickly comprehend various fundamentals including: the Director’s artistic style; the script’s storyline beats; tone of project; cinematic/camera moves and effects
- Systematically source relevant imagery (video + stills) to help develop and realise our clients’ ideas and organise these proficiently
- Generate AI imagery to best match the requirements
- Manage and archive the image libraries
Essentials
- Able to confidently interpret and comprehend multi-layered briefs
- Confident with getting to grips with Directors’ past work and personal styles
- Have a good grounding knowledge on what it takes to produce a TVC
- Maintain and improve good processes and practices around methodically collecting images/gifs
- Be technically proficient. A rapid computer user with an understanding of media files: video, gifs, and images.
- Adhere to an exceptionally high standard (we work with the best prod co’s and Directors worldwide)
- Take direction well, respond well to critical feedback and be confident in putting forward new ideas
- Manage your own time, work well under pressure and move quickly to meet tight deadlines
- Have a demonstrable passion for Cinematography, Film, and TV – it helps to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of new films and shows
- Be a curator, with a natural curiosity, and the ability to think differently
- Right to work in the UK
Nice-to-have bonus
- Have experience working on a shoot/on set
- 2+ years experience in creative/camera/film/advertising role, ideally working collaboratively at an agency, production company, creative studio or similar.
- Knowledge around generating AI imagery.
- Graphic Design (e.g Adobe Suite, Photoshop)
