Hello! Does anyone recommend any community building platforms or software?

I’ve been looking at Mighty Networks as it seems to be the one that meets my needs the most, as my current community is on Facebook groups but I’d like to move from there and provide more features. Is there anything I should be aware of about MN?One thing I’m struggling with is that I’d like to integrate at jobs board, I don’t suppose you know of any affordable, simple job board integrations/ software/ platforms you would recommend?Thank you again Matt, I really appreciate it!
- Hi @Naomi Hollas , I think picking a community building platform really varies based on your requirements and intended usage. Where are you on the spectrum of turnkey-to-customizable?For example, if you're looking for a hosted, opinionated solution, you could look at something like Tribe, Circle, Mighty Networks, Discourse, or Discord — all of which are quite different but can be used to build communities. None of them are perfect afaict, I've heard mostly good things (and a few meh) about each of them.If you're looking to build towards the custom end but without building from scratch, you might build on top of WordPress. There are a number of popular community-building plugins for WordPress like BuddyBoss or BuddyPress.Unless the technology is necessary for your value proposition, I would recommend not building from scratch.Hope that helps, good luck!
