Hey, i’m new here. Best way to connect with new people & utilise “the dots” platform? Look forward to any suggestions & meeting new people.

- Hello Azaria,I'm fairly new too (about 3 months in, I think) and after sitting and watching for a bit I decided to post replies to questions and other posts where I genuinely had something to say or a direct contribution to make.I also worked my way through the members list and sent out a number of connections to both people I already knew (but whom I didn't know were Dots users) and people who operated in my general sector (the music and live events sectors, in my case). And I always attach a note to the connection requests to explain why I want to connect - I prefer quality over quantity which is why, for example, I diligently keep my LinkedIn connections capped at 100!I now have 25 Dots connections - 26, if you accept the request I am about to send...I have also posted a couple of questions myself, one that got a lot of responses and one that got none. The one that got the responses was way more specific than the one that got none. I know that's a small sample to draw any conclusion from but it does mean that I will be more specific in the future.Finally, last week I posted my first event to the Events listing page. No reactions as yet but it does show that I'm proactive on the platform, which might be of interest to others.Hope that helps.Dave
