Hey scale-ups! Need a creative, seasoned, digital-first CMO/CCO, but maybe only have the budget for a Marketing Manager? I got you.

Having previously held roles of Chief Marketing and Chief Communications Officer for start-ups, scale-ups, and FTSE 100 brands, PLUS running my own shop for several years now, my favourite thing to do these days is to dive into small businesses. Businesses who really need my level of expertise, but whose budgets don't necessarly match the expectations of most 'seasoned' CMOs. What I can accomplish in 2 or three days a week is often far more than a more junior-level marketer can in 5. And I reduce overheads even further by working as a third-party consultat (though I often take on the title of CMO/CCO for my clients, the employment arrangement is nevertheless a consulting arrangement); keeping head counts and associated costs low. So businesses get the benefit of someone with 15+ years' experience in global (heavily-digital) marketing, communications, branding and reputation management, and I get to work my schedule around family and other commitments. Wins wins all 'round!
