Hi all, can anyone recommend a tool/site that can provide a contract template for freelance graphic design services? Thank you!
I’m just starting off as a freelancer and wondering if there are any online tools or sites that offer UK-based graphic design contract templates which I can use to lay out Ts & Cs for clients before a project begins? I’m fairly new to this so would be super grateful for any advice in terms of best practice when it comes to the more admin/finance side of things for freelance projects. Thank you!

- @Dan Gissane Amazing, thanks so much Dan! I really appreciate it :) Will check out Wave too!
- @Helen Tong no worries at all, good luck with your search!I did completely forget to mention it but take a look at Wave too. It's not for contracts as such but you can use it for invoicing and accounting, and it's completely free (and legit/secure).I've used it for a couple of years for sending out monthly recurring invoices automatically as well as using it for small one off jobs (that didn't need a full contract/proposal). Even if you get a tool to manage everything it's handy to keep as a backup.
- @Dan Gissane Hi Dan, thanks so much for providing all the info, it’s super helpful! I’ll check out both and see which is more suitable and whether it’s worth setting something up on Better Proposal so I don’t have to worry later down the line. Thanks again!
- Hi Helen, for a tool to send your contracts I'd look at Better Proposals. The template library has stacks of stuff to help you get started, you can integrate with payment processesors for full or part-payment on acceptance too. I love it!If it's just the outline template you're after then this is pretty simple https://www.pandadoc.com/freelance-graphic-design-contract-template/. Lay it out in a Google doc, change to suit, make it look prettier, and send it as a PDF.https://betterproposals.io - direct linkhttps://betterproposals.io?rf=2414978 - my affiliate linkHope that helps!
