Hi everybody, Hope you are well! I want to kickstart my photo editing career but literally do not have a clue on where to start. Any help
Im a self taught photo editor who is stuck doing jobs I do not enjoy and want to pursue my dreams. I still have much to learn but I'm a very keen learner and a hard-working indivisual. Any tips or tricks to get started or where to look would be greatly appreciated!

- @Joe Richardson Hi Joe,Thanks for getting in contact!That's a good start, I will be taking a look at internships. Absolutley, anything editing I love. Just need to get back into the grind as I have been out the game for a little trying to earn some money!

- Hey Ollie,I'd recommend trying to get an internship/s at post production studios. It's where they deal with everything after photo is taken. Are you looking to get into retouching?
- @Ollie Harding if you want to up your skill level join groups on FLICKRand some have weekly challenges to take spacific types of photopraphy they are great to keep you fresh and creating durring pandemic"smile on saturday" "crazy tuesday" "looking close on friday" are the ones i use
- @Rich Manchanayake Hiya Rich, thanks for getting back to me!Your 100% right, I have started my portfolio and it’s not finished yet but I’ve had to take a break from it, however when it’s near completion I’ll be more than happy to send it over. There should be a link on my profile to a quick portfolio that I done just so people can see what I do!Thank you for the tips though I really do appreciate it!

I am currently building my portfolio but I’ve had to pause as I need money (working etc). I guess the finished goal is edit and manipulate photos?I’m a bit of a newbie when it comes to finding jobs like this!
- depending on what you want to create or atchieve from your photography there are many routes you can go. What do you want as your finished goal?
- Hi ollie,My advice that I could give is to just go out and build your portofolio by taking pictures and ediitng them consistently which you could as a CV when applying for jobs.If you aleady have a portofolio could send me a link to it?
