Hiring an Art Content Editor! - PAID (Freelance)
I am currently hiring for Artscapy (https://artscapy.com).
We are looking for a Content Editor on a freelance basis who will be responsible for the proofreading and copyediting of all articles written by our team of freelance content writers. These short articles are all art-themed, so having an interest and/or background in contemporary art is critical for the role.
Artscapy is a social platform, where content aims to be friendly, accessible, and, most importantly, engaging. Engaging content (that promotes high-quality likes/comments/shares) is our biggest priority and your biggest challenge. Your role will be vital in ensuring our content writers are aligned with our brand values (high-quality and accessible) and tone of voice (engaging, fun and passionate).
What we look for:
- Professionals, Masters/PHD students, or junior editors with 1+ years of experience in editing
- Demonstrable interest or background in contemporary art is a must
- Proof of previous editing experience (portfolio or published work required)
- Excellent English writing and editing skills
- Knowledgeable of SEO best practices (keywords, backlinks, etc.)
